President Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, and others are currently in the National Executive Council meeting of the All Progressives Congress, led by Victor Giadom, which is taking place at the State House Abuja.
Governors of Nasarawa, Niger, Jigawa, Plateau, Imo, Kogi, Yobe, Gombe, Osun, Ogun, Lagos, Kwara, Kebbi, Kano and Ekiti are all in attendance.
Also in attendance are Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege; Deputy Speaker Idris Wase; House Leader, Hassan Dogowa and the Deputy Chief Whip, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Nnenna Ukeje.
At the meeting, the National Working Committee was dissolved. This was disclosed by a presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad.

On Wednesday June 24, Giadom got President Buhari’s backing to preside over the virtual National Executive Council (NEC) meeting.
